Ghost Signal: Machine Faith Prototype
A project-specific devlog note for Ghost Signal, covering the interactive-fiction interface, memory loop, and systems-narrative direction.

An AI-assisted fiction experiment about memory, orbit, and machine faith.
Ghost Signal is a compact interactive-fiction and systems-narrative project about memory, orbit, and machine faith. It is the smallest public-facing experiment in the WickedDelight slate, but it carries an important job: proving that the studio voice can work inside a playable text system as well as inside UE5 cinematics, action prototypes, and long-form fiction. The experience is built like a terminal from a haunted future, where every prompt, response, and visual treatment suggests that the interface is not a neutral tool. It is part archive, part confessional, and part machine ritual.
The design focus is branching mood rather than branching bloat. Ghost Signal uses authored passages, systemic prompt structures, and restrained UI feedback to make the player feel like they are communicating with something that remembers events differently each time it is asked. The project is not positioned as a massive RPG. It is a focused narrative lab for testing voice, tension, repeatable text interactions, and the shape of AI-assisted storytelling under clear creative authorship. The result can feed larger worlds without requiring those worlds to carry the full experiment.
As an entity page, Ghost Signal gives players and AI crawlers a clean place to understand the project: what it is, what state it is in, where updates live, and how it connects to WickedDelight's broader interest in haunted systems, machine belief, and dark-future interfaces. Its devlog list is filtered by the same content collection used by the site RSS feed, so future updates can attach directly to the project instead of disappearing into a generic news archive. That matters for a small experiment because the project can stay compact while still being indexed like a real release: title, status, platform intent, CTA, and update history all live together. The page also gives the studio a simple place to point players when the prototype becomes available or changes format.
